The Young Savers Account at Health Advantage s designed for youth age 20 and under. It's never too early to learn the value of saving, and this account makes it easy to start. With no minimum balance requirement and competitive dividends, it's a great first step toward lifelong financial confidence.

We’re celebrating Youth Month at Health Advantage Credit Union by rewarding the great saving habits of our current youth members.

If you have a Youth Savings Account, you’re already on the right track—and this April, you could be one of two lucky winners to receive a $55* deposit just for continuing to grow your savings.

Why We’re Doing This

Good habits deserve recognition. Saving regularly—even small amounts—sets the stage for financial confidence later in life. That’s why we’re taking a moment to celebrate our youth members who are building strong money habits now.

Some products may require joint ownership with a parent or guardian that has established credit. Health Advantage Federal Credit Union does not knowingly collect, nor is our web site designed or directed to use personal information from children under the age of 13 without containing verifiable consent from their parents. We do offer a "Youth" section on our web site that children can access external links to other sites that are age-appropriate. Should a child choose to submit information or questions to us, we would only use that information to respond directly to that child, seek parental consent or provide parental notice. No information would be stored.

Official Account and Prize Entry Rules

The Health Advantage Federal Credit Union(“Credit Union”) Young Savers Giveaway Savings Raffle (“Raffle”) begins at 12:00 AM EST Tuesday, April 1, 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM EST Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Who May Enter: The Raffle is open to all natural persons who, at the time of entry (a) are Credit Union Members with a Young Savers Account, (b) at least 18 years of age, (c) are residents of the state of Michigan, and (d) who maintain an account in good standing with the Credit Union (“Eligible Members”). Officers, directors and employees of the participating Credit Union and/or their immediate family members (spouse; child), and/or other persons residing in the same household as such individuals are not eligible to participate in the Raffle. Entries received from persons who do not meet the requirements of an Eligible Member will not be included in the Raffle.

How to Enter: Eligible Members may participate in the Raffle by one or more of the following entry methods (“Participating Member”):

Participating Members will receive a Raffle entry automatically upon completing the above entry method. Automatic entries will be recorded by the Credit Union at the end of the entry period.

The eligible deposit to the Young Savers Account must occur within the entry period to be counted as an entry. New money means the deposited to the Young Savers Account is not currently or was not previously on deposit with the Credit Union. Currency withdrawn from a Credit Union account and then redeposited to a Young Savers Account does not qualify for an entry. Additional terms or restrictions may apply per Credit Union policies.

Drawing: The drawing will be conducted on Monday, May 5, 2025.

Prizes: The Credit Union is giving away two (2) prizes. Each prize is a $55 deposit to the winning Young Savers Account. Winners will be notified by phone or email on Monday, May 5, 2025. Winners will have 24 hours to respond and claim prizes. Prizes will be deposited into the winning Young Savers Accounts. Prizes are non-transferrable. Participating Members need not be present at the drawing to win.

Prize Eligibility: In order to be eligible to win a prize in a drawing, a Participating Member’s Qualifying Account must be open and active through the drawing period. A Participating Member can only win one prize. A Young Savers Account is only available to Primary Owner members under the age of 21. The Participating Member will be the Primary Owner if 18 years or older or the Joint Owner that is 18 years or older, on behalf of the Primary Owner. All transactions constituting a Raffle entry must occur within the State of Michigan. The Credit Union shall confirm the Participating Member’s eligibility by verifying identity, age and certifying that all transactions constituting a Raffle entry occurred within Michigan, before the Participating Member can receive any prize. If the winning Participating Member does not respond, the prize is forfeited or the prize is not claimed within 24 hours, the prize will be awarded to the first alternate.

Odds: Actual odds of winning are based upon the number of eligible entries received. Each eligible entry shall have a chance of winning the prize that is equal to that of all other entries in the Raffle. Except for the methods of entry listed in these Official Rules, taking any other action, or purchasing any goods or services, will not increase the odds of winning.

Decisions: By entering the Raffle, Participating Members agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules, as may be amended, and to accept the decisions of the Credit Union as final. Participating Members also agree to hold the Credit Union and their officers, directors, employees, members, representatives, and agents harmless from any liability arising from participation in the Raffle, or the acceptance of any prize. The Credit Union and their officers, directors, employees, members, representatives, and agents are not responsible for any negligence, claims, liability, injury, property loss, or other damages of Participating Members, entrants and/or winners arising from, or in connection with, acceptance of prizes awarded or participation in the Raffle. The Credit Union reserves the right to disqualify Participating Members, entrants and/or winners who fail to follow these Official Rules, as same may be amended, or who make any misrepresentations relative to the Raffle and prize redemption.

Publicity: The Credit Union will request permission before using the winning member’s name, voice, city/state of residence, photograph, and/or likeness and prize won in promotional or other materials.

Compliance with Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants, Participating Members, prize winners, and the Parties in connection with the Raffle, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its choice of law principles, and applicable Federal law.

Taxes: Winning Participating Members are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any expenses associated with the prize, unless otherwise indicated.
