Health Advantage Credit Union Charity Golf Outing Raises Nearly $14,000 to Benefit the Health Advantage Cares Foundation
September 2, 2025
Saginaw, MI – Health Advantage Credit Union is proud to share the success of its Annual Charity Golf Outing, held Friday, August 22nd, at Maple Leaf Golf Course in Linwood, MI. Thanks to the support of generous sponsors and golfers the event raised almost $14,000 to benefit the Health Advantage Cares Foundation.
The Health Advantage Cares Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, uses these funds to support programs that promote healthier, stronger communities, including its Nurses Continuing Education Scholarship. This scholarship program helps Michigan nurses pursue advanced training through college courses, seminars, and conferences-strengthening both their careers and the care available to patients. Since its introduction last year, nearly $10,000 has been awarded to 17 nurses across the state.

“Our outing is a reminder of what’s possible when people come together to make an impact,” said Laura Crase, President and CEO of Health Advantage Credit Union. “What happens on the course carries far beyond the day itself, creating support that reaches families, healthcare workers, and neighbors alike. At its core, this event reflects people helping people.”
Health Advantage Credit Union extends its gratitude to the sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who made this year’s outing a success. Together, their efforts ensure the Foundation can keep driving positive impact throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region.
